Currently our fieldwork project has grown drastically in the last couple of weeks. Our fourth group member Carrie decided to up and quit school so that left us by ourselves to finish the project. We kicked it into high gear and began to crank out this work. We have been refining our cover letter to fit the needs that Mrs. Palmer pointed out on the draft we had turned in. Our draft had a few grammer problems so those were fixed immediately. Also we have taken the time to refine some details in the cover letter and to elaborate on some of the topics.
The most important advancement our group has made is in our survey. Last week we had turned in a series of questions to Mrs. Palmer to see what she thought of our questions. While some of them were good we had decided to whittle it down to nine very thought out questions. The questions are mixed between personal opinion on cancer awareness and background on cancer facts. The survey monkey site keeps track of the stats collected and shows charts and graphs based on the results. In under a weeks time the survey was done by 85 people and counting. The results are varying very well and we should be able to draw some conclusions out of them. Lastly we left the last question as an open box in which people could leave their email for further questioning. We have had several people leave their emails and we may soon contact them.
