2. What are the publisher's credentials?
3. How credible is the content?
4. Is the source appropriate for your project?

This source is a source from Google scholar. It is a short excerpt from a book written by David L. Westby and published by Oxford University Press. By reading Westby's profile, it was clear that he is knowledgeable in the life of growing up as a musician and artist. This makes him qualified. As for the publisher, Oxford University is very prestigious and has a history and reputation of being credible. The content is reliable because it presents many different sources, personal stories, and quotes that relate to my topic. This source adds information, depth, and an enhanced understanding of my topic so therefore, it is very appropriate for my paper.

My second source was from the VT Library Database. The publisher of this source was Kanerva's Occupational Dermatology and more specifically Springer Berlin Heidelberg. From reading about these publishers, it is clear that they are very credible in the fact that they have been able to publish several other things that are credible sources as well. The author of this is Professor Dr. Derk P. Bruynzeel. He is a leading professional in his field and is very knowledgeable when it comes to this topic. This source is credible for several reason. It was published in 2012 which is very recent, it has several additional sources cited within it, as well as references and copyright holders. This source is appropriate for my project, but it had information that was not necessarily relevant to some of the things I want to discuss about my topic. It was still very interesting though.
