Eric Breedlove Journal #5

1.) For the average human the duck pond is a really calm place to collect ones thoughts.  I found this student looking out onto the pond with a relaxing look on his face.  He looks as though he just came from class and is admiring how peaceful the scenery is.  He is not worrying about how cold it is at the time because he is really just taken away by the view he is looking at.

2.)For many people coming to the duck pond is a relaxing time to just get away for a bit.  However, for others it is a job and one that requires a lot of time to be put into it.  This job is meant to provide a lot of support for others, especially when they are tired and want to take a load off to relax.  This employee is very resilient and never leaves its post to make sure it si there for anyone that needs it.

3.)  The duck pond is not only a place to go look at a nice view or a workplace, it is also called home.  This place provides a secure "hangout" spot where groups can come to socialize and talk to one another.  It has some business in it but mostly just fun in games, with a little nutrition mixed in.
