How Credible is the Content?
This source is very credible. It takes in statistical figures from information given directly from the ICS, and it discussed the National Cancer Registry as well. It gives important general information about the statistics of cancer, specifically lung cancer, and how, when polled, people do not understand the dangers of it. It doesn't seem to be bias, and plainly states the facts given to it, which is helpful. I accessed the site through the google, but I also found it through the VT Search database. This makes me believe that the source must have some credibility. This information also seems up to date; however, statistics can change frequently.
Is the Source Appropriate for your Project?
Yes, this source gives solid information; however, since it is a newspaper article, it cannot be considered a scholarly source. It did, however, help bring more information to me which can help me find more scholarly sources based on what I learn from this site. It will help in regards to statistical data collection.
